Get the Look | Tamera Mowry's Fresh Face

1. As always, beautiful makeup starts with beautiful skin. Be sure to cleanse, tone and moisturize your skin according to your skin type.

2. Even your skin tone with tinted moisturizer like Laura Mercier's SPF 20 tinted moisturizer. If you want more coverage, try Make Up For Ever's HD Foundation. Set with a loose powder.

3. Next fill in your brows with a brow pencil. MAC has a great brown pencil that comes in a variety of colors.

4. Prime your eyes with a primer of your choice, NYX Eyeshadow Base Primer works well. With a blending brush, lightly apply Inglot's 479 Double Sparkle Eyeshadow or any other grey shadow with a light sparkle to your eyes. Extend the shadow to underneath your eyes as well. Next you want to line your top and bottom with a black liner. I suggest Stila Kajal Eyeliner in Onyx. Add mascara and lashes.

5. Smile and lightly apply an orange hued blush to your cheeks. NARS Taj Mahal  is FAB!

6. Lastly apply a light nude lipgloss to your lips. Try Viva Glam V!!!

Get The Look: Janelle Monae

Janelle Monae is bringing more than a new refreshing sound to the music scene, her androgynous clothing style and hott natural hair updo is equally as refreshing and fly. Not to mention she is a true beauty with skin to die for. To get Ms. Monae's sexy and natural makeup look follow the steps below!

1. As always, beautiful makeup starts with beautiful skin. Be sure to cleanse, tone and moisturize your skin according to your skin type.

2.  Be sure that your brows are properly groomed. Janelle's brows are on the thick side but nicely shaped. Lightly fill in thin or over plucked with a brow pencil like MAC Spiked.

3. Even out your skin tone with Black Opal Stick Foundation.  Set your foundation with a finishing powder, try Becca's Fine Loose Finishing Powder. I recently sampled this powder... amazing!

4. Next apply an eyeshadow base to the lid, Urban Decay Primer Potion works great. Then apply a matte shadow that is as close to your complexion as possible all over your lid up to the brow bone. Define your crease with a matte brown shadow a couple shades darker than your complexion. Use a light hand during this step to ensure the look is natural.

5. Line the top and bottom lash line with MUFE Aqua Eyes in Black.  For an extra "bang" add some Ardell Fashion Lashes Demi Whispies. If you're not feeling the lashes just add mascara.

6. For Janelle's bright cheeks try an reddish-orange blush like NARS Exhibit A. This blush looks very red in its container but don't be intimidated {with a light hand and well blended} Exhibit A looks gorgeous on a black skin tones. If you get a little carried away just apply a loose powder to blend and tone it down.

7. Line your lips with a brown lip line, MAC's Cork will do, and add MAC Siss on top and pucker up!

8. Lastly, set your makeup with a finishing powder spray MAC's Fix +.

Get The Look: Rihanna

Photobucket
Its no secret that Rihanna's makeup is always On.Point! From her videos to the red carpet to paparazzi pics, she always has her game face on. If you love her look too, I’ve got some steps on how to copy it so that works on all skin tones. Check it out:

1. As always, beautiful makeup starts with beautiful skin. Be sure to cleanse, tone and moisturize your skin according to your skin type.

2. Next grab a matte foundation like MUFE Mat Velvet + or Iman Stick Foundation and blend well into the skin. Set with a loose powder to make sure your foundation stays in place.

3. To recreate her killer cat eye pull out your pencil brush ( the MAC 210 brush makes lining your eyes a breeze) and a gel eyeliner like Loreal HIP Cream Eyeliner in Black. Trace your eye extending the liner a little further toward your temples create the "winged' look. Tip: To make sure that both "wings" are even,  extend the liner from the bottom lash line then connect the line from the top lash line. This way your curves will be even. If you want to define your crease a little, just grab a blending brush and apply a matte eye shadow that's close to your complexion. Curl your lashes and add about three coats of black mascara.

4. For glowing cheeks pull out NARS Super Orgasm, smile and buff the blush into your skin.

5. Apply a sheer nude gloss to the lips or for the unforgettable red lip, line your lips with NYX Hot Red liner and put [my fav] MAC Ruby Woo on top!

My Best Dressed Grammy Picks...

Glee star Lea Michelle looked gorgous is this fun and flirty, one shoulder navy blue dress. I loved the simplicity of this look and I need to add something similar to my wardobe STAT. Her natural makeup was flawless and allowed the dress to take center stage.

Keri Hilson looked stunning! By far the best I've ever seen her look. This beige mermaid dress huged her curves and I loved the embellishment around the waist. Her makeup was flawless giving me face a nice glow. If I were in high school this would so be my prom dress lol!

Taylor Swift is so cute to me. I thought she looked like a doll in this sparkly blue number. Her makeup was very light and she added a little splash with a pink lip. Just adorable!

My honorable mention was Pink. I love the way the dress blended with her skin tone... Amazing!
