MUSE | Breeze Renee
Bree is one of my oldest and best friends. We met freshman year in college and have been "soul sistas" ever since. It was absolutely perfect outside so we decided to play in some makeup and venture out to take photos. Bree is my first photography muse. Enjoy!

MUSE: Revive Your Closet Fashion Affair
I had the pleasure of giving a makeup demonstration during a fashion show that featured old garments that were revitalized into new pieces and because I am such a big lover of the thrift, it was right up my alley! During the event attendees participated in the makeup demonstration, a shoe and bag bar, pole dancing demonstration and of course the fashion show. All the businesses were owned by black women who are doing IT, such an inspirational night!
During the demonstration I focused on the basic fundamentals of applying makeup and turning your day look into a night look with a few easy steps. Meet my gorgeous model Jumoke!

I didn't get a good picture of Jumoke's day look but here was the final result!

The shoe and bag bar provided by Eklektik Shoe Fetish and the pole dancing demo by Tease Fitness Boutique:

...and the fashion show! Some of these fabrics are over 40 years old. I did the models makeup as well.

Designer/Seamstress Joyce D. Allen can be contacted at reviveyourcloset@gmail.com. Website coming soon!

MUSE: Shakita's Flirty 30 Birthday!
Shakita celebrated her 30th birthday the only way the Director of iKandy Events should... BIG! She had a beautiful rooftop shindig, a fun barbecue and topped if off with a sexy and sassy photo shoot. Thirty never looked so good!
Photos taken by Mary DeBoise.

MUSE: Shakita of iEvents

Love this girl... she's my business partner, workout buddy and friend. Shakita gave plenty of attitude in these photos and the camera loved it. These beautiful photos were taken by iKandy's own photographer, Mary!

MUSE: Merluis The Beautiful Bride
Merluis was such an elegant bride and definitely a pleasure to work with. She requested a natural golden brown look to accent her beautiful gown. She definitely had the wedding day glow so I didn't need to use much foundation at all.
Pretty!
Her sister and maid-of-honor had faboulously tanned skin and gorgeous eyebrows.

The beautiful bride... *tears*
Both girls were stunning and I had a blast!

MUSE: Charlotte's FOX News Rising!
I had the pleasure of making the faces of stylist, T. Strong, and her models for another segment of Wardrobe Wednesday on Charlotte's Fox News Rising! It was a lot more pressure this time because I had to make five faces in less than 1.5 hrs but needless to say it all worked out!
T. Strong gave great tips on finding the right pair of jeans for your body. We all (men and women) struggle to find the perfect fitting jeans, so I hope these tips help you out on what seems like a never ending quest for perfect jeans!

MUSE: Aisha Lide

Aisha is a makeup artist's dream with her huge eye space and high cheek bones. I was able to use about five colors on her eye and you can see all of them.
These beautiful photos were taken by S. Kehinde Patterson. You can see more of his work here.
